Focal Point
An exhibition of paintings depicting structure in the landscape

This exhibition is aimed at making a social and a political commentary about the modern and urban life style challenges and cosmopolitan life adjustments. According to the artist, such a juxtaposed urban life style is perpetuated by deep unemployment and poverty scares as well as the citizens’ dire maneuvers for a better living.
The artist uses stylized architectural structures and building silhouettes as vertical objects that steal the peaceful horizontal horizon focal point. Such objects continue to create multiple focal points, which indirectly characterize and define landscapes throughout the world.
The artist customized the artworks by using crossing diagonals, which metaphorically represent multi-race, multi-tribes, and multi-nationals, which struggle to come into terms with living together.
