An exhibition of oil paintings by Willem Truter

Willem Truter’s intense and colourful works reveal a sensuous interplay of realistic and abstract forms. Objects like flowers, plants, antiques and ordinary household things are harmoniously set in a context of abstraction to evoke spontaneous feelings of exuberance and happiness.

The exhibition in the art gallery of the Alliance Française Pretoria, is opened by André Naudé on Thursday, 6 November 2008 at 19:00 for 19:30 and runs till 28 November 2008.
