"Ber-Sama-Sama"...The title "Ber-Sama-Sama" is an Indonesian word meaning : Togetherness - Human interaction - Existogether. This is the way that Fai-qah Abrahams introduces her Batik fine art textiles.

What she says about her creations : As well as celebrating the isolated and unique individuals in society, the re-birth of universal human beings, their existence and contribution to this world, the samples depict abstract, geometric, pictorial and floral designs.
These original designs were developed using the process of resist dyeing and were further enhanced by incorporating beading and embroidery.
Fai-qah Abrahams is a creative artist of Indonesian origin. She studied Graphic Design and general painting and drawing at Ruth Prowse School of Art in Cape Town, textile and batik in Malaysia and dye technology in the Dye House Peninsula Technikon in Cape Town.
She has exhibited her creations in Johanesburg, Cape Town, Malaysia and Indonesia.
