Our client a leader in the manufacturing sector is seeking a French speaking Deputy Engineer Team Leader from the automotive or Manufacturing industry to join their team.
Qualification & Experience
3-4 years Mechanical Engineering experience within Automotive/ Manufacturing industry
B.Ing/B.Sc degree in Mechanical Engineering
Assist with transformation of Production Engineering strategy into action
Must be fluent in French ( written& spoken)
Key Performance Areas
Ensure cost control according to forecasted budget & set parameters
Continuously liaison, negotiate and delivering information with services providers, end users, suppliers
Supplier management
Monitor supplier outlay
Project management to ensure successful execution according to project plan
Evaluate and monitor project and remedial actions taken to address variances
Ensure cost control and quality according to set parameters
Report on weekly basis on status of projects
Report on difficult points, project and functional status
Complete ANPQP/LUP bases and creation of AVES trajectories
Ensure all processes according to specs
Localise, trim and chassis components according to set parameters
Chassis parameters can include axle, braking system, cooling, power steering, exhaust, wheel, tyre, suspension, fuel tank
Trim parameters can include opening panel mechnisms, windows, selaing, seats, dashboard, air-conditioning, exterior accessories, lighting, etc.
Ensure cost reduction parameters are met on current components
Resolve warranty concerns within set time parameters
Manage team performance to ensure targets & objectives are met
Co-ordination of Function Group, multi-directional group (engineering, purchasing, plant, cost analysis, suppliers, etc)
Knowledge
