Sophie Bassouls is a highly accomplished and internationally acclaimed French photographer. Famous for her portraits of some of the most important literary figures of the second half of the 20th century, Sophie Bassouls comes to South Africa as a humble, experienced artist. She will host an interactive workshop life skills course for scholars and tertiary students and will exhibit her 2005 collection of top South African writers at Alliance Française du Cap.
