The exhibition comprises the work of 30 artists who are currently students at the studio. The artists range from employed professionals to housewives and retirees.

These artists have defined tastes and expectations as to what kind of art they prefer and enjoy.

Their aim is to make art which they, their family and friends can enjoy and which will give them pleasure. Therefore, in many cases they have been influenced by the work of well known artists.

The artworks reveal the different approaches of the art students from realistic to abstract. Subjects like landscapes, genre scenes, portrait and animal studies are rendered in a variety of styles and media.

It is the type of art which one would like to live with.
The work is eclectic and should prove popular for most art lovers.

Opening on Wednesday 27 August at 6.30pm
The exhibition continues until Wednesday 3 September.
