Exhibition by Alexandra Leggat

Opening on 4th, 5th and 6th November from 6pm to 9pm.

Alexandra Leggat show cases her landscapes on her first solo show at the Alliance with iBi ART. She has been working and living in the Tranvaal, on the Suiker Bos river on a farm and painted the scenery around her. She adores detail and has attempted to show the variety of landscape in her surroundings in oils, using the oil very loosely. You almost feel like stepping into nature as she re creates the realism of the moment in the landscapes….

The show opens the 4 th Nov with consecutive evenings on the 5 th and 6 th Nov 2009 from 1800- 2100.

Alexandra studied art from 1990- 1993 at Michaelis Art School in the Cape. She studied Fashion design at Leggats from 1994- 1996 and then went on to study Chinese Art History at Soas in London.
