“Our client a global mining leader with offices internationally has a rewarding opportunity for a French Speaking logistics manager to be based in Madagascar on a 1 year contract”.
Key Functions :
* Manage warehousing functions * Manage Distribution functions *Inventory Management *Offsite repairs Management *SOX Compliance- Ensure that all process under management complies with SOX requirements and continuously improve SOX compliance *Team Management and Leadership *Continuously seek improved ways to meet client objective *Meet and exceed customer expectation *Manage 3rd party Service Providers and service providers
Key Skills that is pertinent to the role :*Warehouse operations*Line management Experience *Distribution Operations*Inventory Management *Process and Procedure development*Contract management*Financial budget management*Leadership*SAP experience
Qualification :
*Secondary Education coupled with Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Procurement or Commerce or Business
Experience and requirements
*At least 10 years experience in various line management, project, services and support roles in a logistics/warehousing environment with distribution responsibilities * Operational responsibilities/management * Operational management experience preferential * Experience in a capital intensive industry *Excellent French and English Language skills (Verbal and written)
