"To dare ! and dare again ! is my leitmotiv for me...one must not fear.
Being an artist is like being an explorer with all its inherent surprises and risks. "
Opening evening
on Thursday 3rd May 2007 18:30

Medium : CARDBOARD
Inside the cardboard, underneath it, "beings" difficult to define, as the wording changes according to one’s imagination, live, do (yes), want TO BE BORN !
They shout, wiggle, move around, it’s a troubling rigmarole ! When, after some work under the different layers of cardboard, I un-cover SOMETHING, I stop :
I AM THE FIRST BEING THEY LOOK AT.
We meet, GET MORE ACQUAINTED, and I give them A NAME, a title. They are.
THEY EXIST AND I LOVE THEM.

Jane ROSINSKI divides her time between South Africa and the Provence.
After completing studies and having spent a few years in Germany, she tried her hand at artistic expression and quickly found both her path and a medium of choice : cardboard, which she restores to prominence.
Numerous exhibitions followed, mainly in Provence.
In July 2006, she was invited by "ESPACE ROSEAU" to exhibit her work at the Avignon festival.
