The access to the library is free of charge. Anyone can come and read, watch television (TV5 Afrique) during the opening hours which are as follows :

We offer 3000 books (exclusively contemporary French and « French written » literature e.g. French speaking African writers) exception being made for South-African authors (we do have French translated books). We have, as well, set a small English section of books about France(Novels and Essays). We also offer :
- 20 French magazines (Paris Match, Elle, Courrier International, L’Intelligent Jeune Afrique, L’express, Le Nouvel Observateur, Marianne, Capital, Ca m’intéresse, Lire, Science & Vie, Psychologie, Elle Décoration, Cuisine Actuelle, Astrapi...)
- 1200 video tapes
- 300 DVD
- 300 CD (French singers, Jazz, World Music, African) .
All of these can be borrowed for a few days (films and music) or a few weeks (magazines and books), once a yearly membership fee has been paid. Fees are as follows :
