Who are we ?
The Worldwide Network of the Alliance Française
With satellites in 136 countries, the Alliance Française is a network of cultural institutions dedicated to the promotion of French language and culture.
The strength of the Alliance lies in the fact that it offers both language teaching and a full cultural calendar, showcasing various art forms. This original concept ensures the popularity of the 1074 Alliances around the world.
The Alliance Française of Johannesburg, at the centre of the country’s economic and cultural life
The Alliance Française of Johannesburg, situated in the heart of South Africa’s economical capital, plays an important part on the local cultural scene. The teaching activities are booming : we attract a diverse clientele, increasingly motivated by professional reasons and the demand for French tuition within firms has grown significantly in the last few years.
Sponsorship of cultural events by the Alliance Française of Johannesburg
The Alliance invites you to support its cultural programme by becoming an official sponsor of one or more of its events. This type of partnership gives your firm the opportunity to get involved with the promotion of new talent or with great South African and Francophone artists. Not only does it increase your visibility amongst French learners and speakers, but also amongst those attracted by the cultural events on offer - artists, journalists, young professionals, etc.
