"Ethiopia fascinates me for it’s human density. The moment I arrive, I feel connected to an all encompassing yet quiet infrastructure of eyes, movements and intentions. I am allowed to appreciate this, even though I don’t understand all it’s meaning. This is where human communities have survived for millions of years, where events have been recreated and reshaped in scriptures and mythologies and tales, thus generating a colourful landscape of it’s own. To be in Ethiopia is to become part of this"
