Guy’s show at the Alliance Française will be his last in South Africa for 2009 before he heads off for a recording project and a tour of Mauritius with legendary Mauritian based bluesman, Eric Triton and the outstanding guitar player from Niger, Alhousseini Mohamed Anivolla from the great tuareg band, Etran Finatawa, who have recently just completed a tour of Southern African in association with the Alliance Française.

Guy’s renowned and stirring live performances showcase his numerous recordings and improvisations including music from his recently released “Fox Hill Lane” which has been receiving rave reviews across the globe. Guy captures the spirit of an exciting New South Africa, with its vast melting pot of influences and colour.
