Alliance Française in South Africa is inviting 100 South Africans, aged 17 - 30, to study French free of charge in any of the following branches : Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Durban, Mitchell’s Plain and Soweto.

How to apply ?

Send your nearest Alliance Française the following information by post or e-mail :

• your present economic situation (Are you employed ? Do you earn a living ? etc.)
• the reasons for which you wish to learn French
• your annual income

After examination of all applications, a commission made up of local personalities will be allocating bursaries. The decisions of the Commission will be final . Applicants will be notified individually of the results after deliberation of the Commission members.
