Cape Town, the South African ‘City of Jazz’, is home to many well-known jazzmen.
A regular event at the Alliance Française du Cap, the Jazz Rendez-Vous takes place on the last Friday of each month at 19:30. It aims at showcasing the many facets of Cape Town jazz, uniquely rich in its diversity and strong identity. The event was born out of a shared passion for jazz: Alliance Française du Cap director Christian Pizafy and Jazz Rendez-Vous artistic director Titilayo Adedokun work together to feature local talent and put the spotlight back on musicians.
In an intimate setting, we offer an opportunity to appreciate live music and enjoy a home-cooked meal, always being mindful of the performance. The Jazz Rendez-Vous is a seated concert for which booking is highly encouraged as seating charts and catering are planned based on reservations.
